Fleischmann to Participate in House Nuclear Cleanup Caucus Event on Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03), Chairman of the House Nuclear Cleanup Caucus and Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, will participate in an upcoming Nuclear Cleanup Caucus event on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

The event will focus on the Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy’s Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses and how these efforts can provide states and communities with greater long-term certainty while supporting America’s growing nuclear energy industry. The discussion will also examine potential Congressional actions needed to provide a durable path forward for nuclear materials management and the full nuclear fuel lifecycle.
